Overview:
Our client in NSW always had aspirations to build their dream house on a property in the Riverina Region of NSW.
The property is entirely off grid.
They are entirely reliant on renewable energy with a back up generator as a fail safe to handle their entire energy load year round.
Building a house based around load profile discussions ensures that the home is always backed up with energy ready to go, within the limitations of the system.
Our Distinct Approach:
System Design:
PANELS: 16.48kWp Q CELL PV Total
INVERTER: 3 X ABB 5kW Selectronic Certified
INVERTER CHARGER: Selectronic 7.5kW Australian Made
BATTERIES: 23 X Simpliphi 48V 3.8kWh USA Made
ANALYTICS: Arvio Monitoring
Key Initiatives included remote BMS integration via Arvio Monitoring.
The Genset also has an ATS (automatic transfer switch).
The Outcome:
As load profiles change within the household, the benefit of being able to store extra energy in more batteries or solar is always beneficial to an off-grid system.
Greenwood monitor this system daily to ensure that the clients load profile is co-existing with the capabilities of the system. Arvio monitoring allows Greenwood and the client to have up to date data in real time.
