Overview:
Victoria’s newest floating solar system was just launched by the Honorable Lily D’Ambrosio - Minister for Climate Change, Energy & Resources, and the State Electricity Commission. Greenwood was proud to be recognised for its role in this project at today’s ribbon cutting ceremony in Lardner Park!
Our Distinct Approach:
Greenwood was engaged by Gippsland Climate Change Network to design the Lardner Park system nearly 12 months ago. Applying its engineering expertise and lived experience gained as EPC of Australia’s largest floating solar system, Greenwood’s design accounted for Lardner Park’s distinct site characteristics to ensure a safe and efficient deployment.

Lardner Park is a great example of Greenwood’s appetite for tackling complex projects. Floating solar systems bring on a step change in complexity of both design and construction. Buoyed by industry-recognition for its record-setting 350kW+FPV system - which was Winner of the 2023 Clean Energy Council (CEC) Solar Design and Installation Award - Greenwood welcomed the challenge.
The team at Greenwood look forward to seeing this beacon of innovation - brought to life by RACV Solar - shine in Lardner Park for decades to come.
