The Brief to Greenwood:
Family- owned Gilmac is the premiere exporter of quality Australian fodder to dairy and beef industries across East Asia, including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and China.
Greenwood Solutions was engaged by Enel X Australia to design, supply, install and commission this 466.56kWp ground mounted solar PV system.
Council Approval was difficult, but clear project management steps were put in place to pass all approvals.
Soil on site was unstable, and to eliminate any issues, Greenwood with engineering approval bored down 1.8M to allow strong structural integrity of the posts for the S-Rack Ground Mount PV System.

The Outcome:
The annual generation of the system is 738.8MWh. This equates to a Carbon reduction of 722 tonnes CO2 per year.
Grid Connection was indicated at 16 weeks by PowerCor. With Greenwood’s expertise, it was connected in 4 weeks.
Native vegetation plants in conjunction with the local council were implemented to ensure that native flora and fauna were positioned on the perimeter of the project.
