Overview:
Greenwood understands that every client has a unique set of needs and desires when it comes to reaching their solar goals. This stunning Brighton property on Church St was being renovated to be one of the most attractive properties on the block.
This also meant they had a clear list of priorities and goals when it came to solar installation to seamlessly integrate with the houses overall architecture and feel.
First, understandably, aesthetics were a priority for the entirety of the renovations. The client loved renewable energy, but wanted to ensure the aspects of the system were not visible from surrounding street views.
Secondly, they wanted a system that would truly change the way they collected and utilized their power. This led to the installation of two Tesla Powerwalls to maximize their storage options.
It was clear to us that this was going to be the forever home of our client so making sure the install was ready for any future adaptation was another priority. This allows our clients to have confidence that their current needs are met while maintaining the option to add on to existing systems, to adjust to their personal needs, in the future.
The Greenwood design team communicated extensively with our client to ensure that each aspect of their needs were being addressed to the fullest extent. Whether that was checking and triple checking plans or running around the neighbourhood to check visibility from every angle, perfection was the objective.
This attention to detail ensured an easy roll out with minimal adjustments being made at the installation phase; leaving behind an outstanding result.
Our Distinct Approach:
System Design:
Panels- 42 x SUNPOWER MAXEON 3 395 Watt Residential
Inverter-1 x FRONIUS SYMO 15kW 3PH
Storage- 2 x Tesla Powerwalls
Due to the specific needs of our client on this build, the array and corresponding components were part of an extremely complex system design that spanned over multiple rooftop surfaces. Because Greenwood is all in house, we were able to seamlessly communicate and adapt through the processes of design, installation, and implementation.
Design wise, Greenwood wanted to make sure that this install wasn’t just pretty but also packed a punch. To realize this goal we opted for the best in the business; Sunpower Panels. These small but powerful panels allowed us to use less space while maintaining a high level of output. These panels are built with design in mind, they have endless configuration possibilities as well as super high module efficiency and durability. Peace of mind is also guaranteed with a 20 year replacement warranty on SunPower Maxeon panels.
Installing Tesla Powerwalls was a no-brainer to maintain energy independence and reduce day time spending. Installing two Tesla Powerwalls allowed the client to take full advantage of tariff optimisations and give them room to grow in the future.
The Outcome:
The Result
